I recently installed my blow through set up, and before install I was getting 15psi now I get 10. I bet you all are screamin' boost leak but i looked everywhere. Every clamp is to the point of breaking from being so tight. The only thing it may be leaking through is my side mount. its a piece of crap. After all the hose clamps were tighten I thought it might of been my bc, so I ran it open wastegate, still the same. Is there anyone in the tucson area that has a leakdown tester. if you think it might be somethin' else please chime in.

you need a boost leak tester, and please tell me when u disconnected your mbc u didnt just disconnect the hose from the wastegate actuator and leave it off, you did hook your pressure source straight to the nipple on the wastegate actuator right? yea basically you need a boost leak tester to test for air leaks, it can be done by just visually looking at the connections and making shure there all tight, you can make one yourself

a boost leak test is not about looks, its about pressurizing the system and listening for leaks in the form of hissing.

most leaks arent due to clamping, but mostly(from what ive seen), rips/melts in couplers due to heat, pipe gouging from rubbing against frame, turbo seals.

i mean to say "it CANT be done by just visually looking at the connections and making shure there all tight"

missed that T in there:p sorry for the spelling error, but thread starter yes u need a boost leak tester its the only way your gonna find em.

No I took a spare piece of hose and ran it from the wastegate actuator and connected it to the compressor nipple on the lower ic pipe.

okay good, now get out to a home improvement or plumbing supply store and build you a boost leak tester:thumb:
