We're making progress on our Grandview High School project GSX. Kiggly Racing hooked us up with an AEM XS-series Uego wideband gauge.

Our plan was to just replace the front o2 with the wideband gauge and then simulate the narrowband signal with DSMlink, but we only have V2. Is that only available with V3?

If that won't work for us, is the simplest fix just welding in a second location and keep the stock fron o2?

Yes that would be the easiest fix.

The only catch is that there are only two decent locations, immediately next to the stock location, about 10" downstream, or about 3ft downstream. Everything else is too tight. The instructions say 18".

What would you guys do, closer or further? I see accuracy of reading, vs life of sensor...

This is where my wideband is hooked up. Sits right under the oil pan:

I left my downpipe installed and marked with a sharpie where the gap between the engine and firewall was and put my widebang bung there. that way I can easily access it and it's at the correct angle. (I mean I took it out to weld the bung in.. but you get the idea)

Thats what i did to. I ran it in the stock location for years, but with what im doing now I didnt like the clutter up front and wanted to have the lc1 box inside.
