I'll be at the track in a few weeks and had some questions for you guys.

I have a long rod 2.0 that will make 800awhp and rev to 10k.
I have a built transmission with the IPT rebuild kit, kiggly clutches, sinister 8", shift kit and shift box.

I'll be running M&H Racemaster Drag Radial 245/45/R17. I'm expecting 9's out of this set up and have heard a lot about how weak 4th gear(OD) is. Can I keep it in 3rd and rev the piss out of it or should I shift into OD? What are you guys doing?

You need to stay out of OD. With a motor that turns 10000, you should have no problem getting thru the traps in 3rd and will save the OD clutch pack, even though it is an easy fix. My son has a similar setup and NEVER uses OD at the track and only revs to 9000. That's how he runs his.
