I also sprayed the jams so I had to open and close the door. It was alot easier this wayWhy did you leave the windows down? I paint with them up to keep the dust and overspray down.
Thanks man. I plan on keeping the wheels the same color. If I were you I would try to fix those dents on your roof with a dent puller first and then use bondo if u need it.Great work on that paint man! Never seen this color on a DSM but it does look quite nice, will be interesting to see with everything assembled. Are you painting the wheels in a different color as well or keeping them silver?
Also for the roof, do you think it would be worthwhile to try and hammer out/pull any dents, or just fill them in with bondo and paint over? I have a nasty dent just above the top left corner right next to the windshield and not sure how to go about it (it's also black so it's lost the clearcoat there).
But otherwise good luck with your project. Steadily and surely it'll come back to life!
