Gettin Custom Exhaust Built

Hey guys,
Im havin my alignment guy build me a custom exhaust. I already got a header and bad ass muffler. I am just having a hard time deciding whether or not to get 2.25" piping or 2.5" piping. Which is better?

id go with 2.5in.. thats what i have on my 1.8l and noticed alot more power in the hole powerband.. i didn't notice an loss in low end either, its also recomended for other future mods

yes id definatly go with 2.5 perfect size for the 1.8

I had a local shop bend up an extremely nice mandrel bent 2.5" for me, it fits perfectly behind my header 2.5" downpipe and 2.5" Testpip, slgihtly loud, but definatly was a big improvement over stock
