I just installed my genII. well I can't get my car to start. I keep trying until my battery is all drained up. Then i have to use a jump box and keep cranking and cranking. finally it'll start up. i then get check engine code for IAT and Barometer. I checked my connections (brown and gray wire) all of them are tight and spliced into the right pin#'s. it says my iat is -25 and my baro is like 40 or something like that if i remember correctly.

I zero'd everything to:

mine is hooked up to a 2g so i am not sure on your ignition settings but it sounds like you are starting rich do to the issue with the IAT and Baro CEL's. you don't still have your factory MAF hooked up do you? i cant remember what the baro should read off the top of my head but your IAT should be reading about 78deg i am assuming that you have a data logger, if so try adjusting your user 1 and user 2 v-out ans see if it makes a change to your ecu , if not then it sounds like you either have a faulty MAFT or a bad connection somewhere.

try this, plug your stock MAF in and unplug the gm MAF. then unplug the user 1 and 2 and put your MAF input and out put to the same and see if that works. that will at least tell you if it is a problem with the user 1 and 2 outputs with the translators.
