which gauges are recommended for first time buyers? boost gauge for sure, but which other two should i get?

I'm really surprised no one has said water temp guage. That was the first one i bought.
If you want to moniter every aspect of your engine then get boost, oil pressure, oil temp, water temp, tranny temp, voltage, and wide band. I don't think it really matters if your a first timer or a pro. When something goes wrong with your engine you would want to catch it as soon as possible. Plus if you got nice guages it would just look cool inside the car. That is as long as its set up tastefully.

make sure you spend the money on a decent oil pressure gauge i opted to buy a electric one takes out the hassle of leaks and bleeding the oil line

the water temp guage factory is pretty accurate and if you plan on tuning your prob gonna get dsm link and that would be able to tell you if the factory gauge was close or not

I would get boost, wideband, oil psi. And I wouldnt cheap out on them.
