gauge/gauge pod questions

I really want to get this pod for my boost gauge:
STM: AUTOMETER GAUGE CUP | 52MM | 2121 | 2204


being ive noticed that the boost gauge i have has a vac hose on it, so can i still use it with this kind of pod? or do i need something completely different. I want to mount it on the left side of the gauge cluster bezel on top.

and i despise pillar gauges. so if this wont work, can you suggest something that would?

That pod will work if your willing to drill a hole through the back so the line can be ran to boost/vacuum source.
