Ok so im going to be fixing my valvestem seals this summer and started reading about gates water pumps and how there pretty good and how gates supply to oem dealers so ive read, so i thought about there timing components! But has any body had experience with these? As the only info i can find is on there belts!!! I already use there normal belts for a few years and it has lasted 3 years so im happy with this from gates.

Any info on these would be good even if you only used 1 pully just let me know how it lasted and if your happy with them!

Thanks bobby

Gates is a great company and offers better quality for a slightly lower price.

PCI is a company gates supplies, which offers their products for a lower price as well.

So your saying that gates are better then the oem pullys i would get from mitsubishi??? Hmmm well i think i should use there products then if there better then the oem items plus as everyone says there slightly cheaper.

Little secret: Contitech makes belts for Mitsu under contract.

Can't beat a Contitech since this is the default product for European vehicles with DOHC motors...

Thats good to know and i shall keep that handy just in case! Im going to be running the HKS purple kavlar timing and balance belt! I should have specified more on the pullys! Like the idler, tensonier and balance pully. Thanks for that secret hehe

Yeah. For my almost 10 years in the oats business I have sold both gates and conitech. They are both great products. they have high standards and most of their respective products exceed oem. I prefer to use conitech on German vehicles, and gates on everything else. Theres something bout the tooth design being tailored to specific manufacturer specs. I run gates on my 1gb dsm. Highly recommended.

Well thanks for the replys guys i am going to get the gates pullys then they seem to be above par so its good to know that you all like them! Plus i just worked out gates is about $3 more expensive then oem haha im good with that though.
