Anyone know what size the alternator belt is for a gates blue belt with a Fluidampr?

I have to take my timing componets off while doing a headgasket and I need the alternator belt. When I did this the first time I got all my belts in Gates blue belts but the alternator belt was way too tight and I could not fit it on with the fluidampr. The belt number for that is k040384RB. I ended up going to the parts store and got a Gates Black belt in a size or 2 bigger. But I would like all my belts to match (BLUE).

Anyone know what the number for the next size up would be in a Blue belt and where to get it?

Also anyone know why the fluidampr is bigger than the stock?

The gates "blue belts" are gates racing and as far as I know, they only make the timing and balance shaft belts. Does it really matter that all your belts match or just that they work properly? Anyway you said you got them before, but the alt belt wasn't the right size. So why not go to the same place/vendor and ask if they carry them.

Well I did email them at the time of install. Which was back in September or so. Never got an answer. But I will send another email.

Well I got a reply they do not know what the correct size is. I emailed the makers of fluidampr directly. I will post their response when I get one.

I got a reply:

"Thank you for contacting Fluidampr's tech support. Our Mitsubishi dual 4 rib damper has a bit larger pulley on it than OEM, which you noticed. I found a Blue Gates belt on amazon which should work with your Fluidampr. It should be about 1.5" bigger."

They also gave me a link to the one they were talking about.

Yes I know that now. At least people can see that the fluidampr is actually bigger and need a bigger size belt when you get it. When I was researching for one I never seen that you would need a bigger belt and just assumed that the normal size would fit. The more you know.
