Gas in oil

Okay here is the deal,
I have searched this topic already and have narrowed down what could be going wrong. Most of the threads though, seem to stray of topic or focus manly on one possibility. I have an idea whats wrong with her. Its a 2g turbo AWD.
It could be a compression problem (how do i do a compressing test, what do i need?)
Bad ECU. In my opinion i think it might be this. The car couldn't pass emissions. Running rich. Too many hyber something carbons. Plus the car just smells when its running. It might be the exhaust leak, but it smells really rich.

I bought it from a guy who "promised" it would pass emissions. When i get it running again I will have a lovely fine for the Colorado Emissions. 25$ a month. its been 3 months already. I have to wait until summer for my job to start again so i can fix the many problems it has. Im just trying to figure out everything that needs to be done, so that when money comes in, I can fix her.

If you guys have any other ideas, let me know.

Also if anyone knows a good way to get a bolt that broke off into the car out that would be helpful too!

I would give the car a tune up change your o2 sensor (about sixty bucks) don't get the universal sensor get one thats made for the car plug allready installed.From your picture I can't tell what bolt is broken.

From what you describe it sounds like a body bolt. It holds up yor cross member.Not to bad when I got my car the former owner did major damage to the undercarraige as well as other things.I think I had the same bolt ripped out.I removedthe whole crossmember when Iwas rebuilding the engine in your case you might not want to do that.What you want to do is drill a hole into the center of the bolt. drill the hole to match the easyoutbefore applying the easyout take a small tourch and heat the bolt get it good and hot,insert the easyout and get the bolt out If there is a rubber bushing remove it before you begin also clean the area real good scrape back the rubber under as best you can and TRY not to set your car on fire.

Yes I do believe its the crossmember. But the thing is the crossmember is pushed so far back you cant reach the hole without taking everything apart. Which is what im scared to do.

check fuel return line maybe clogged .
