I recently noticed my gas gauge stopped working after I pulled the pump so I pulled it back out and made sure the steps were done correctly. I moved the arm and it worked (relayed to the gauge) out of the tank but was barried beyond E, I put 4 gallons of gas in it and its still under E. Not sure why it would work out of the tank but not work in it, any ideas? Thanks

If you flipped the float over it is reading backwards. try flipping the float and see if that fixes it.

I wasn't aware you could flip the float, it seems set correctly right in front of the fuel filter sock so ill have to get to working on this and get it figured out. Thanks for the input any other input would also be appreciated!
