Alright guys i just installed a 255 in my gsx and the gas gauge doesnt work anymore. Ive taking it apart to see if anything is wrong and nothing seems out of place. It worked fine before i put the 255 in and now it doesnt. The gas light comes on but the gauge never moves any ideas?

This happened to me as well as some other installs... Make sure the sending unit is installed properly, the gasket and plastic lid is intact, and screwed on correctly. If not, you will have to test the entire sending unit circuit. Either the gauge itself, the wires/connectors to them, or the sending unit itself. Double and triple check your work. Its usually something simple.

Perhaps you didn't correctly put the FUEL TANK PRESSURE CONTROL VALVE back on?
-Temporarily tighten the flare nut by hand, and then tighten it to the specified torque , being careful that the high pressure fuel hose does not become twisted.
Torque Specification: 30-40 Nm, (22-29 ft.lbs)
Caution: When tightening flare nut, be careful not to bend or twist line to prevent damage to fuel pump flow connection.
