Well ive got a Garrett T3 just sitting around thats off of a SAAB 9000. I figured since its sitting around that i could put it on. What all will i need to put this on my car. I know im going to have to have new intercooler piping, exhaust manifold and downpipe but what else will i need other than that? Please help me out on this one. Any help will be cool. Thanks for your time.

Well FP and AMS offer adapter plates that mate the DMS manifold to a T3 ehxaust housing
The other things you are going to need that you have not mentioned are the fittings for oil and water ( if it's water cooled)

Have any specs on the turbo....just want to make sure it is worth all this work

In my eyes i would suggest getting a turbo that bolts on
Might save you $$ depening on what you plan on doing with the car.

Make sure that the turbo is good. I know alot of people sell those turbos off of Ebay, usually they come with a little bit of shaft play, and the seller doesn't know if it burned oil or not because they never ran the turbo, just bought it looking to sell it and profit. I bought one and that was the case, after about two weeks of driving, it started burning oil like a mother. but good luck :thumb:

I'd also make sure that it's going to be better than the T25. If it's not going to net you any gain, it's not gonna be worth anything to you.

^ he's also right, you should list the mods you have so we can help you in your decision. If you don't really have any you might as well stick with the t-25, since you won't be raising the boost any. Also you don't really NEED a new intercooler, those sidemounts are good for quite a bit of pressure, but many people switch for the look.

Well... i dont have anything done to the car right now. But down the road i plan on putting different things into it... but nothing like new motor or anything like that... just ###### the basics.... new turbo, intercooler, intake, boost controllers and all that good stuff.. but yeah for right now i have nothing done. If i did get rid of this turbo how much could i sell it for?

Probably less than you bought it for. Where did you get it first of all? Second, if you want a more accurate answer you need to give us the specs of the turbo(Compressor/Exhaust A/R, and trim), and pictures.

Josh

I have no clue what the specs are on this turbo but like i said its off of the Saab 9000. Is there any way to find out what they are... I did find some pictures of the turbo if that helps.
