Garnering Interest: 2GB Talon Front Lip

Hello,

So i know this subject has been brought up in the past, but would you all be interested in a front lip for the 2Gb talon front end? I'm thinking something simple similar to our 2gb eclipse front lip but modified to fill in the small portions where the talon bumper goes upwards?

PRICING! For something like the mercedes style lip we would be looking at around 300 for Duraflex, and 500 For Carbon Creations. Those who put deposits on this first batch would be looking at lowered pricing, however it depends on how many people are willing to put up the cash!

I'm not sure how a 2gB Talon lip would be designed right to work with the existing contours of the rounded, pointy lower front bumper shape. Having a flat vertical face dropping down to a lip, like the 2gB Eclipse lip, would look a little off on a Talon. Maybe use something like the lips made for the E92 M3 as reference?

The shape just doesn't lend itself well to a lip in my opinion. If anything, the 1gA and 1gB would seem like better candidates, especially given the limited number of 2gB Talons out there.

The front on the Benz looks intriguing but the 3/4 and side view will be tricky on the Talon with the shape of the lower part of the bumper. It curves quite a bit where the Benz is quite flat.

Pricing would vary depending on the design and what material being used. Carbon Fiber is going to be more expensive than Fiberglass based parts (Duraflex). a flat simple style would be less expensive to make a mold out of than a more detailed one like the Benz lip above.

I will keep watching this thread. I agree with what ludachris is saying. That side curve is going be tricky. Play around in photo shop or photo editing program to get a better idea. That benz is flat bottom. Are you going to sculpt it out of clay or foam?

The 2gb front bumper already sits so low, with a lip i would be scraping everything. I'd be more interested in some sort of a 2GB Talon rear bumper lip to make the rear end look lower.
