Galant vr4 vs 1g dsm seats (bracket/set up)

Hey everyone,

Does anyone know if the seats in a 1g are the same as the galant vr4? I know many things are the same between vehicles.

The reason I ask this is because I have been hanging on the galantvr4.org and saw that "curtis" made some brackets for the galants to utilize Recaro seats from the evo.

Would I be able to use the these custom brackets designed for the galant vr4 seats in my 1g?

Are you wanting to put recaros in your car or GVR4 seats in your car? Can't tell you if the GVR4/DSM seats are the same, but I can tell you that Curtis' brackets are beautiful. A buddy of mine has a set for his Galant. In my experiance, I have cut the factory sliders off and welded tabs to them to correctly mount 5 point seats.
