Hey BroDSMers,

I have a 16g with 750cc Inj. I read 0.25g/rev at Idle. At WOT around 5500--6000RPMs I read 2.10G/Rev while my boost gauge reads 23PSI, this to me as I recall is way off, nah? should be close to 2.6G/Rev.

This gives me 20* advance at 7000RPM... on 94 octane.

If so, what are possible causes so I can solve this problem?

Attach a log and I might be able to help. Do you have cams? You probably need to do some mafcomp at the higher HZ to get them to line up. You may have a boost leak as well, but without a log its just gonna be guess work.

Solved, J-Pipe was sealed with gasket maker... :barf:

I ordered 3 j-Pipe gaskets a while back to use as backup if ever I needed em'... looks like that was a good call.

I saw a 2.8G/Rev on my first pull. All the others after show 2.6g/rev... another small leak somewhere?

Soapy water, my friend, lots of it and patience. You could also need to smoothen out your MAFcomp a little or other minor adjustments, but no one can tell with out a log. When asking questions about link, ALWAYS post a log. :thumb:

SmoothingMAFComp ... I wish, only of LinkV1 let me LOL. I only get to change fuel and timing to avoid knock of be more aggressive. And stupid old IBM laptop running windows 2000 has no USB drivers, no cd-Rom burner and no Ethernet jack. Lol, posting logs I wish I could to!

Youre still on version 1? I think it's time to upgrade your firmware. link has made leaps and bounds since version 1. From what I've heard, its almost night and day.

Ya .. LOL I bought the car like this. It's my first season I get to play with. I'm looking forward to a SD setup with V3. I got a bunch of saved links and stuff already printed out for it. :thumb:

Since I got the thing for so cheap, I'm still skeptical about it. So at the moment I'm just using link to dial all the sensors in properly and to learn how to properly read the car and spot errors before they become a problem. The reason why I post alot of small questions like these, always curious LOL.

In version 3 you can lock the ECU in closed loop and start a cruise log, and link will then give you suggested MAFcomp points for you to adjust to, then you can manually smooth out the lines on the chart yourself (im not sure what version 1 even lets you do). I would highly suggest upgrading your firmware.. it should be relatively inexpensive too! you just DL it from their website and install it and youre ready to go!

EDIT: I'm sorry, I forgot v3 will require a new cable as well and adapter, please refer to the ecmtuning website under packages/upgrades for a complete list of instructions and details
