Nice mph Matt, I have been getting the bug again lately. We just finished the other car I was talking about and Damn, at 14psi it is sick! Won't be long now for me.

Just a heads up, you should run low 11's with the new slick set-up, I ran 11.90's at 124-125mph in that car with sh1tty slicks and only 25psi. Put those new slicks on there and get that boost up closer to 30psi, and with a little practice, you will have some great times. Still checking on those parts for you.

Keep practicing, and ride first out on the rev limiter, with the no-lift shifting, it won't bog. Matter of fact with the slicks, you will not have any lag with the no-lift shifting. And god please only run C-16 at the track even with the lower boost. That Georgia heat will put your set-up under some strain when you crank the boost up. :p

Hey Chris. Was wondering when you'd pop your head in here :) Glad that "project" you mentioned is coming along nicely. Would love to see that bad boy! I understand what you mean too. It's hard to stay away once you've been bitten. Believe me I know. I've tried. LOL.
I always religiously run C16 at the track. Always have. Hadn't planned on running the car originally due to not having the slicks yet. But got "talked into" it ;) so I put the highest they offered at the track in it (114). Never put her above 23psi. I'm very excited about running her w/ slicks. I just need to find some 13x8 drag wheels. I've been looking at the Bogarts that Extreme sells but they are like $550 a set!! The slicks I got are 24.5x9-13 Hoosiers. Got them brand new for CHEAP. So we'll see how they hook. I know I still have some practicing to do and she'll still take some time to get used to. But it'll come. I'm glad you decided to post up. Hope all's going well w/ you. Just get w/ me via e-mail about all the other "stuff"! :thumb:

Hey cool.... someone posted a picture of my car (the blue Talon). I wish I had a video of my race with the Supra drag car ;) That high 90s heat and running c16 for the first time, tuned for 108, almost killed my car. I was just playing most of the day, not getting into the gas. I actually ran a 20.3 @ 77 mph on my bye run.
We had a great time though. My best for the day under those conditions was 12.0 @ 115 mph. Definetly not my fastest race.....

What's up? I remember seeing you there and talking to you about your suspension setup... don't know if you remember me though, I didn't have my car cause it's broken

How was your sixty foots with the new suspension setup?

Hey.. I think I remember you. My first attempt with the new suspension was a 1.62, that's a 1/10 better just in 60ft. I'm sure it will get better when I figure out the best way to launch with the new setup. Good luck with your car.......

That's pretty sweet :thumb:

You're on your way to some nice 1.5's :thumb: :D
