Toronto,
Ok guys I searched but could not find anything. My buddy is giving me his Skunk 2 coilovers and his tokico struts from his 95 tsi AWD. I was wondering because I have a spyder will this setup work. Right now the car has stock suspension, so will the spyder stock suspension fit in my buddy's tsi?

By "suspension" I assume you mean shock assemblies. Then the answer is yes, they will fit. Some of the suspension arms are different but the shocks fit the same. Many vendors have the same part number for Spyder GST and AWD shocks and some have no Spyder shocks at all. Typically, the only difference would be a slight change in spring rate. Since the GST Spyder and the AWD's are close in weight the differeces are minimal.

Ok , so the skunk2 coilovers and tokico shocks wil fit in the spyder from the tsi and will the stock shocks and springs from the spyder fit the tsi?

wret- Just asking. Even though the rears have diferent part numbers they will still bolt in place of eachother?

...and yes.

i agree w/ wret...dude knows his stuff! even tho he has TRUE coilovers on his spyder.:) GSX and spyder spring rates are closer than the GST.

btw wret, i didnt see you at the GMU meet. did you make it? i was there early on, so may have missed ya'

'Merkles' - how happy are you with your set up. Just got a spyder, and looking to upgrade the suspension. Did you need camber kits?

You can buy the AGX's for a FWD car also. The part number for the front of both the FWD and AWD AGX's is 741042. The part number for the rear AGX's for a FWD is 741019. The part number for the rear AGX's for a AWD is 741020.

reason I was askin bout the awd fittin my GST synchro in mine are goin out(damaged when i bout it) i'm planning on doing an AWD swap over the winter and I don't wanna buy the rear struts twice if I don't have to. I should have clarify'd that before hand, sorry bout that
