fwd rear trailing arm/ panhard bar thoughts

ok so i would like some opinions on my panhard bar situation? the previous own must have hit something or tried jacking up the car by it because it is all bent. i am going to fabricate myself a new one so the debate begins. i was thinking of making a aluminum one where the ends are solid with no bushings in them. Or should i make one with urethane bushings in? im not sure if making it solid will make the back to rigid and make me have a tendancy to loose the back end easier under hard cornering?? any input on which would be better would be great thanks for the input

Solid vs tubular?

calculate the stiffness difference with the Modulus of Elasticity, sectional area, and length. Also calculate the weight difference. If you cannot make these calculations, you are in for alot of mystery in why things changed.

Personally, I would grab a used one off another car. There are plenty of ways to change the under/oversteer tendancies of your car without making it clunk over every bump.

I totally agree with this statement. Don't fabricate you own suspension parts unless you're and expert.
