I've swapped in my FWD turbo, non-EPROM ECU into my AWD Talon that had an EPROM ECU originally. Why I swapped it is irrelevant.

Either way, the car feels faster with the FWD ECU and I've not been hitting fuel cut in very cold weather--I'm loving it. Everything seems fine when I monitor it via datalogger. What gives??? The leaner A/F ratio in FWD ECU?
 
With or without the TMO chip in the EPROM one?
In '90 the FWD and AWD cars have different code just like the CA vs FED. I haven't looked at the FWD code to see how different it is from the AWD code. In the later software the differences when you have the FWD resistor in vs out are minor.

I'm still driving around with the non-EPROM '90 FWD turbo ECU from my Laser (didn't have time to switch back/being lazy). It was pretty cold in the morning today and I didn't even hit fuel cut where I would normally hit it at these temperatures (around 25F) and 18psi. The car is a beast (especially in 1st and 2nd gears) with this FWD non-EPROM ECU in AWD car. OMG

I'm enjoying it too much, I don't know if I want to put the AWD ECU back in the car. :D
