I've searched and can't find anyone who has done this. Long story short, I accidentally purchased a clutch slave cylinder for a 1990 Turbo FWD Eclipse instead of an AWD (90 GSX = not in profile). The part actually fits, but will not line up to the clutch hardline.
My question is... Can I just buy a SS Clutch Line from RRE and call it a day or is there a BIG difference between the two Slave Cylinders that would affect the vehicle?
You may be thinking... "why not just go back and get the AWD part?" I was thinking the same thing until I noticed how incredibly easy it would be to bleed the clutch with the FWD part... because the AWD clutch slave cylinder really sucks to have to bleed. I'm sure you AWD guys know what I'm talking about.
So anybody have any experience with this?
