1g FWD clutch slave cylinder fitment?

i am wondering if there's a difference in clutch slave cylinder between 1g FWD and AWD? i have a 89 FWD, my friend's 92 AWD clutch slave cylinder wouldn't fit mine, the orientation is all different, i am wondering if there's a difference between 89-90 models vs. 91-94 models, i know the 89-90 models are somewhat odd in a lot of places...

same question goes for master cylinder, is there a difference between AWD and FWD? how about w/ or w/o cruise control or ABS?

Will a 2g slave cylinder fit in a 1g?

Nope they are different.

I believe they will bolt in place of eachother. The only diference I see is the position of where the line connects to.

2g is on the left.

yeah it should bolt right up but its not just a direct fit. and also the lines going to the slave cylinder are different.

ok so i did a 2g tranny swap into my 1g so now i gotta go get a 2g slave cylinder?

as for what you said you are wrong... i bolted my 1g slave cylinder up to my 2g tranny just fine
