fwd and awd engine harnes the same

ok as it says i need to know if you can put a turbo fwd harnes in an awd do the years matter ? thanks for the help in advance oh they are also both 1g cars one is 90 other is 91

A 1990 has a different style connector for the power transistor and coil pack.

so other then that the fwd and awd harnes are the same im talking about from the ecu to the engine to the everything up front ?

couldnt i just use my 90 power transister?

It shows what needs to be done to get the harness to work in the different model year. You should also look at the other link to get an idea of what is different between the two model years when it hooks to the ecu in case there are problems when you install it. yes i already knew about that website due to i was thinking that my power transiter was bad and i had an extra 91 transiter pack so ive read all that but thanks for the update


can any one tell me why i shouldnt put a 90 fwd turbo harnes in a 91 awd ? other then the transiter unit thanks
