FWD 2G - ACT 2100 ok for stock + flywheel recommendations? (Future HP goals >300)

First time clutch job too! With future goals in mind, should I just upgrade now or is it too much for stock components? I do have pretty new master and slave cylinders if that is worth mentioning.

Also seen in lots of old threads and other sites not to use Fidanza/other aluminum flywheels because they're not as tolerant to heat and wear over time... Since this DSM is long term for me I'd personally rather get a brand new flywheel than resurface it... any experience with ACT flywheels? Keep seeing mixed things! Any other recommendations? Planning on taking my time and putting new rear main and axel seals just as preventative maintenence

nope. the only way it could get too hot is if you don't know how to drive with a puck disc. If you try and drive it like a stock clutch and keep the restrictor in, maybe but i have never had any problems with running a lightweight fidanza with a 6 puck disc. Most people don't like them because you have to launch at a higher rpm. And you can get chatter if you try to slip the clutch.
I never ran one with anything beside a 6 puck so i couldn't tell you how they are with a normal disc.

Then when your clutch is toast, and you replace it, all you have to do is remove the fiction surface and put on a new one.

if i were you i would wait until your clutch is going out or starts slipping before you worry about a new one.

It's definitely slipping in 4th pretty bad

i would check out
clutch masters fx300
or fx350

CM clutches have never given me a problem.

i think there is only 1 other person on here besides me, that likes using lightweight flywheels so you probably wouldn't like it either.
