Fuse block switched 12volt feed

I'm rewiring all of my interior gauges/devices and want to get an advice on what is the best switched 12v source to hook up to the fuse block.

The fuse block has 6 (30Amp) channels, most of the accessories are going to be bulbs and switches. But there is going to be probably more than 8 of them, some through relays. So, i need something that can handle all of the draw.

I know that there are some ignition wires under the steering column that might work, also heard that MPI relay (pin 5) might do the trick.

Just want to get some educated opinions on what would be the appropriate tap for my application, that won't interfere with any other functions.

I would run a 10ga wire from the battery through a relay. Then trigger the relay with the switched ignition source. It's how I have mine ran. I actually split mine before the relay, and have several 12V constant sources along with the 12V ignition source.

I was trying to avoid running a wire but i think you are right. That prob would be the best way to do it. Thanks again.

Best way to do it would be to run a fused wire straight off battery positive and use the relay to ground it out each group of accesories if I understand what your trying to do.
