I switched for mobile1 10 40 to 15 50 and ive notice more tick than before. I added 4 quarts at oil change, then checked the oil, noticed it was bout a 1/2 quart low, so i added some oil and it still has tick. It does it at start up and while driving just when it gets warm. During idle their is no tick. Clueless???

the oil is to thick and with all the sludge in the oil ways from years of use,its hard for the thick oil to get through and the lifters are the last to get oil.

I wish I had good news but no...you will have to change it but I think seafoam makes an engine flush to get rid of that sludge...check with your autoparts store(autozone-napa)they can tell you.

I think i am going to go with Mobil 1 Fully synthetc 10w 30. Do you thinkit will make less tick than others??

Ya, funny thing i have the same tic going on and i just changed my oil a day ago to the mobil 1 fully synthetic 10-30.
And it now seems even worse then before, hopefully this oil doesnt destroy my engine before i can get to the next oil change and put some regular shit in it.
I cant believe i spent $5.32 a bottle for this stuff and its worse then before...

Ah forget about the push rods you don't need em. Heck Mitsu forgot to put them in my engine. heh ROFL Now the lifters hmm the thicker oil may have a time getting through those.
