full of oil. quick question (timing belt cover)

im changing the oil filter brac on my 90 talon tsi. i need to take off timing belt cover that goes down side of motor. do i need to pull the pulleys off to do this? ive got motor mount pulled and all bolts out that i can see but it wont move. didnt remember having to pull them last time i did this but it was bout 4 yrs ago

Yes you have to remove the crank pulley and acc. belts.

There is atleast one bolt for the timing cover behind the water pump pulleys

got it guys tx. after crank pulley was off i was able to pull gr
aud away enough to get bracket off. tx again
