i was wondering if anyone has had this problem, when i have boost set at 26-28psi
and the car is making good power i cant shift from 1st- to 2nd above 6500 rpm. There is no griding it just seems to be locked out. the trans is fresh it never grinds and shifts great but this is the only problem im having. when i shift i have to let the rpms fall before it goes into second. does anybody think putting a twin disk or a 6puck in will help? the trans has dual syncros in it.

I have heard that the twin disks help quite a bit in that area. I don't think the 6puck would really gain you anything, but the twin disk...:hmm: It might just do the trick.:D

What kind of clutch do you have? I heard the EVO guys are having the same problem with the ACT clutch being the cause. Maybe it's your clutch.
