Fuel tank seal rusted away

Well it's beyond the point of reparation . I need to replace it. But I'm having a lot of trouble even finding a used one. Can someone help me do some research on where I can find one? Preferably used, I will get new if needed.

Do you need a new gasket, are the actual studs and everything rusted away, or do you need a new sending unit? Next time be more specific.

You should be able to pull a used sending unit from a parts car at a junkyard or just check the classifieds or craigslist for them. Post a want to buy ad. Also check the facebook pages.

This is where the leak is. The bolt hole is rusted out and the separation of the seal is about 6-7 inches long

Try miller autoparts, or ebay, or craigslists, I would call around to many different salvage yards there out there, it may take a while to find one..

You will have to find something local.

I'm fairly certain Fuel Tanks are not allowed by law to be shipped unless they are new.

You can also call around for a fuel tank repair shops. Radiator shops can usually do them as well. Shouldn't be more than $100 or so.
