I threw my car in the air today and noticed that the fuel filter bolts were rusted on. But I seriously need to change the filter, what should I do about the rust? I don't want to risk breaking a fuel line. Should I just spray WD40 on it till the rust breaks up? I don't know.

The Fuel line kit from STM doesn’t fit on the n/t. (I contacted them on the phone to ask about it and he said probably not) But they do sell the hose and fittings for it, so you can do that.

I 2nd the PB Blaster, also if the line wrench method does not work than use Vise Grip pliers(the flat one's not rounded)

Its simple to change. Remove rear seat cushion, remove fuel pump plate disconnect the Left fuel pump switch There's 2 unhook the one close to door. Start car let it die this depressurizes fuel system. Since you usinf a lift put rag over the fuel filter while you unbolt fuel wil spray out not alot but it will.

I would keep the fuel filter where its at, having it under the hood is a fire hazard. If had a 4g63 I would relocate it to where the stock 420a is at.

If you still want the stm one its at there webiste here

You could just order the 6 an line at summit and the 6 an fittings. They have everything you need. I have the stm kit on my car it was awesome it just took a month to ship. :(

Guy above me I'm from Beloit ohio I just saw you were from alliance. That's cool I work in alliance.

Just be careful, make sure your not stressing the lines bad. The are a big PITA sometimes. Just dont be stupid and go nuts on it, take your time little by little. Youll be suprised, they can put up a good fight but be alright.
