Saskatoon,
i finally got everything sorted in my awd colt, so i decided to start turning up the boost. as soon as i hit 13 psi it went lean, 11.5 to 1. i believe this is lack of fuel flow causing this issue.
this car would have no trouble boosting to 15 psi before, it actually had no filter(i didnt build this car initially).
i installed a stock style filter when i awd swapped it.
the funny thing is, and the reason i made a thread, is my other colt was having the same problems. the fuel supply was inadequate at 10 psi boost, brand new filter too, i replaced it with another new filter, different part number, and its fine now
i used to make 350plus hp with a stock filter/line setup and ran 11.8. i just dont get what is going on here. why are these filters so restrictive? i can barely blow through them
