Fuel Filter location

1995 FWD 2.0L turbo

I looked in the tank I looked underneath next to the fuel tank I took the battery tray out looked against the firewall and i looked on the opposite side near the brake booster.

Im stumped ..I was told that it was gold in color

Can anyone give a direct answer ive searched and many people have said many different things

If you have a picture please post so i stop guessing.

It's on the firewall below and to the left of the throttle body.

above and to the left of the red engine mount.
