Is there any easier way to join the two compartments of the 2g AWD tank than welding in fittings for a cross over tube? I'm installing an unrestricted 3/8" line from the tank to the rail while still using an in-tank pump, and a dedicated return. The last owner mangled the supply tank cap line--looks like he found out the hard way that the hose on the top doesn't like to come off easily. This is just a simple 500+ ish hp engine, nothing spectacular to require anything larger. Mods in profile.

The relief for the driveshaft is ####ing me. Any easy ideas before I go welding on it?

on a 2G good luck, it is a plastic tank with a big metal shield underneath it to keep it from getting damaged. maybe run a fuel line on the inside of the tank to siphon the fuel from the one side to the other instead of over the top.

Thanks for saving me the trouble of figuring that out.

Looks like there's no other choice but to use bulkheads on the tank caps in place of the factory lines

Just remove the factory lines from the underside of the car with a tubing cutter.

Run a bulkhead fitting on the pickup assembly, or fab up a -6AN fitting bung onto the internal tube of the pickup assembly.
