Fuel rail/injector questions

I am in the process of re installing my oem injectors and I noticed a couple of things odd about my fuel rail and injectors.

I am missing the plastic cap that goes by the tip of the injector, anyone know the name and where I could get that at?

Also, I noticed I don't have any fuel rail spacers. When I removed the fuel rail, it was just a bolt with nothing in between the rail and manifold on the bolt.

Is that needed and could someone show me a pic of the order of things on the injector?
I am thinking it goes: Rail, O-ring, injector, plastic cap on tip and then grommet that's on the head. Is that right? Anything else missing?



Besides the plastic piece and the fuel rail spacer, is this all that's needed to reinstall injectors?

That "cap" that you're referring to is called a pintle cap and can be replaced, just call the number to this site (Injector Rehab) and give them the part number off the side of your injector. (The number in in the TOP LEFT corner of the home page)

That injector gasket kit will get you everything you need for your injectors, yet you still need the fuel rail spacers. ExtremePSI has them too, heres the link. ---> Fuel Rail Spacers

I see, do I need two grommets or just one? Is it rail, grommet, injector, o ring, then insulator grommet?

Also, how many and where do the fuel rail spacers go since I didn't have them initially.

Not sure what you mean by grommets. Maybe the injector o-rings?

You need 3 fuel rail spacers. One goes under each mounting tab that has a bolt go through it.

yes, the bigger o rings...it should be 3 or 4 for each injector?
