Ok this is the problem :banghead:
I barely got the car running cherry then this happens.
I going 38 and i stepped on it on 2nd gears and then i let off the gas and my car turned off.:aha: so then I thought it was maybe a wire, timing belt snapped, etc and i found nothing so i called a tow truck:cry: I got home and then i tried turning it on and nothing but then I noticed that when I turned the key over the Whining noise the fuel pump used to do. now Its gone :( so WTFWTFWTF the Chilton does not say nothing about this please help i need my car back asap or i will loose my job at KOLHS:sosad:

Fuel pump and ignition relays for the 420A are on the firewall next to the windsheild washer bottle. They are the same relays, but one is for fuel and one for ignition, not sure which is which. A multimeter and testlight are going to be good friends here.

There are two main components in the fuel pump sub-system; the fuel pump and the fuel pump relay. Check the relay first, as everyone else has been advising you to do. If that checks out, then the pump has likely failed. You can use a fuel pressure gauge on the test port on your fuel rail to confirm that the fuel system isn't being pressurized.

Ok i will do that today just one more thing how do i check the relay with ohms of volts and what should it read?

you wanna read it with your voltemeter in ohms. and if you have one like mine set it to the 200 on the ACV section. as far as resistance that depends on what pin to what pin for testing. example 1 and 2 should have ? etc. look in your manual and it will give you the resistance.

Ok so I went to autozone and bought me both of the relays 50 bucks not bad but anyways i clipped them on and nothing happen. So then I took off my fuel pump and I put in the stock one and nothing also. So any other ideas wtf could the crank sensor make my car turn off if its bad or the knock sensor?

just an idea... my friend had a similar problem and it wasnt the fuel pump it was the speed sensor. suposidly his 420a has two of them. well one went bad on him on the way to stm's open house and had to be towed for a 2 hour trip back home. after he got home he checked the speed sensors and pulled the bad one and his car started right up and ran normal just didnt show how fast he was driving on the dash dont know if that helps

ok problem fixed:aha:. My main clip to the fuse box was not clipped all the way:ohdamn:. and that's why it didn't turn on or was unable to hear my damn fuel pump. At least I got new fuel relays LOL. thanks guys :rocks:
