I'd like the specs for the 6 nuts that attach to the 6 studs holding the fuel pump assembly together. I can't find them on the torque spec pdf that has saved my behind so many times.

It's nice to say just snug it and all of that but it is fuel we are talking about here. On the other hand, I'd rather spend the rest of my afternoon on something than replacing snapped studs.

Thanks.

EDIT:

I found this....at the end is says 2 ft/lbs. Is that about right?

For the torque listed below, you would need an inch-pound torque wrench. Torque the nuts in a star pattern like you would a wheel.

I just done this myself and as its sealing on rubber i just did it up till it was getting tough to turn, stuff like this I go on feel as ive been around cars for along time to get the general idea of what feels right. its not alot for sure

Thanks everyone for the ideas and specs. Yeah, I have a pretty good feel of what might be ok but just wanted to be super cautious. I ended up using my bar type inch pound torque wrench and went around 60-70 inch pounds. Looks like the spec was supposed to be around 29 inch pounds max. It was really hard to see below that measurement so I just used the method you mentioned and it survived. FWIW the harbor freight torque wrench wouldn't click at even 1 ft lbs so I stopped using it.
