Fuel Pump for TSI

I'm running 15 lbs boost on 1g with free/cheap mods and did the FP rewire. I'm thinking about picking up a spare FP to have in case my stock one goes bad. Are stock FP's completely able to handle 15 lbs on 14b or s16g or should I be looking to upgrade?

Yes it will be fine but why not just go to a 190lhp and be safe. Also unless you are tuning the 16g with larger injectors keep boost at 13psi or less otherwise you be above 100%IDC.

if you go with anything bigger than 190 you need an aftermarket FPR (fuel pressure regulator).

255 gives you room to grow, which is nice.

you can also find a used evo pump or a supra pump.

Well I figure I can get a used stock FP dirt cheap and if I take a real long trip I can bring it with me.

You have a 1g...

Drill in a bulkhead fitting, and put a Bosch 044 in the tank.

The 16g has a higher CFM rating; blows more air. 15psi on the 14b does not equal 15psi on the 16g. More air means more fuel is needed which the stock injectors cannot support.
