Ok I have a problem I assume it has to do with fuel or my fuel pump relay not sure heres my problem.

1-when I turn on the car it starts up really rough and if I give it gas; it turns off this only happens sometimes not all the time when its cold.

2- sometimes my walbro 255 does not do the Winny noise when I turn the key to the on position. When that happens the car wont turn on so I have to turn the key back and forward until I hear it Winne up then it turns on.

3- sometimes when I'm just regular driving and my foot is still on the gas the revolutions begin to drop slowy and if I pump the pedal the revs wont go up and the car eventually dies. Then I wait a few seconds. then I turn the car Back on and it runs like if nothing ever happened. This also happens only once in a while.

please help me figure this out. This is getting me frustrated. I need to get it running good since we are having a dsm meet this weekend.

I assume its either my fuel pump going bad or the pump is not getting enough voltage. I dont have it grounded direct thats what my fellow 4g63 friends say.:banghead:

please help thanks.

Seems to be an obvious wire break somewhere. I would start at the fuel pump, only because, to install the Wally, you need to cut wires (as well as the fact that it would be the easiest place to fix/find). From your description, it will not be an obvious/apparent break. You will probably have to unwrap your connections to really see.

I never had to cut any wire while I was installing the fuel pump. It was a direct fit the stock clip was the same as the pump one so I didnt cut anything.

I second this. I didn't have* to cut my harness. *see link below

I would listen to Mark, though, and trace the lead. If it is indeed not grounded, first, Bad Turbizmo! You should always ground something electrical. Second, do this. It's a fuel pump rewire tech article. You should follow the first diagram. It cost right around 20 dollars and is well worth the piece of mind. Especially with you being turbo.

Would it be the same if I just ran a wire from the Negative side of the battery all the way back and join them together to the negative wire of the fuel pump. That way it can be grounded direct

No it wouldn't be the same because the purpose of the rewire is to supply enough voltage to the pump because the stock wires aren't big enough. This would all be on the positive side of things.
