So I'm having more fuel cut problems and I'm not sure why. I tried the Treadstone FCD, which I couldn't get tuned - I tried all of the little notches. Now I just got a brand new missing link and still no luck.

Any ideas?

i dont have a boost leak i fixed that and i dont see why i would hit a fuel cut from too much boost i mean isnt why u get a missing link but i dnt think im running too much boost

it hits at 4500 rpms at about 6 or 7 lbs

Here's one idea, learn these characters: "." and "," and "?" and maybe even ":" and ";" or "!".

Also, be a little more descriptive about your problem and fill out your profile so we know what we're dealing with here...

Hmm that seems kind of low for the psi.
You should do another boost leak test just to be sure.
You could even have a bad wastegate.

Check what section you are in.

style, how did you set the voltage on your Treadstone FCD? Did you use a multimeter and set it around 4.5-4.6v? Did you blow the MAP sensor while setting?

no the guy i talk to on the phone said all you have connect the wires on FCD and u open it and there is a small wheel inside wit notches and thats how u get the right voltage for your car but none of them worked so i donno

silver eclipse dude i know u high in rankin here but dont leave any smart ass comments here

I assume you're talking to me (though my Eclipse is white).

My job here is to enforce the rules and you broke those rules three times in this thread alone. We don't ask for all of our members to be grammarians, simply attempt to use proper punctuation and spelling.

This rule works to your benefit as it's extraordinarily difficult to convey a message without decent grammar.

Secondly, please either fill out your profile or list specifically what modifications you have installed. We're shooting in the dark without knowing what's done to your car.

You didn't include any information about your fuel system. Do you have an upgraded fuel pump or some sort of aftermarket fuel pressure regulator?

Probably, yes. Generally, boost-related fuel cut caused by the ECU happens at around 1-2psi. When it happens at six or seven psi, a component in your fuel system (in this case the fuel pump) hit its limit.

For one, the Walbro says "Walbro" and has the Walbro logo stamped on the side. There's also a part number. You'll need to make sure this part number corresponds to the 255LPH HP pump (GSS342).

I don't remember, but there isn't enough of a difference where you could tell without both of them right next to each other to compare.

UPDATE
i found the reason why i was having all the fuel cut problems... the FMU crapped out and it was running 75psi at idle. SO my injectors were maxed out at 5 lbs, since its 12:1 12*5=60 plus 75 so 135 psi wow....

An fmu doesn't control idle fuel pressure, so unless it was restricting the line somehow it was the fpr that was the source of your problem.
It was probably your fuel pump that was maxed out since it only handles pressures up to about 140psi.
