fuel cut defender

i ordered the turbo xs fuel cut defender and i think the internal wastegate is set at 10 or 11. its the garett super 60 if that helps and i want to boost 8psi will the fuel cut defender stop at that if thats where i set it at and thats all the boost i can push?

FCDs aren't boost dependant devices... they stop the stock MAP sensor from seeing any boost at all. They have nothing to do with how much you actually end up boosting.

You're going to need to modify that wastegate to get it to open at 8psi.
