hey everyone i got a 97 eclipse rs and the other day my wife went out to drive it and it would not start. didnt hear the fuel pump priming. so i got a new filter and pump. replaced both and still the pump does not prime. is there a fuse for the pump maybe it blew. ive tried everything at this point. cant find a fuse for the fuel pump. can someone help please!!!!!!!! any ideas on what could be wrong?

I thought there may have been a fuse, but I couldn't find it.

If it's not priming, check the voltage with a voltmeter, it should read 12Volts. If it reads yet there is no start, check your plugs and wires.

There's a relay that could've died. It's in the engine bay, at the very top of the driver's side firewall.

Yes, it should be to the right of your windshield washer fluid resevoir. It looks like two mini boxes next to eachother on the driver's side firewall. Atleast that's what I recall from my feul issues..

Just a short or a bad connection. whatever wires you where "playing" with when it decided to work, expect to actually have to replace the wires, relay or whatever you messed with, if the problem persists.
