Okay guys so ive talked to a couple people on here and some other people outside of the forum, ive pulled out and checked my ecu for any damage or leaking caps and it all looks great inside no burnt out caps, resistors or any type of board or leak damage, smells great and everything looks good so i figured its not the ecu. i am not throwing a CEL the check engine light comes on and off like it should, i pulled the MPI/MFI relay and jumped it using a 12v battery and a multimeter however i was going off the 1g auto trans mpi/mfi relay check diagram so it might be different. when the key is turned to the ON position the relay does not click like it used to, i checked volts at the pump and it gets 0.0 when the key is turned to the ON position so its not priming like it should or used to do about a week ago. when the car is cranking i get about 1.1v to the pump, i do not hear the pump whine or whirl or anything and am not getting any fuel to the pressure reg. im kind of leaning towards the MPI/MFI Relay since its not clicking anymore like it used to with the key in the ON position. what else could be wrong with the car and not trigger the mpi/mfi relay to click or prime the pump when the key is in the ON position?? ive been at this for a week now, 2 new pumps, one 2g gsx pump, one walbro 255 pump, new fuel filter.

check the connections/plugs for proper connection and tightness. check all grounds. a bad ground can leave you high and dry. i would assume corrosion of conections and wires is your biggest culprit. you may have to chase down each individual wire. the relay could be toast.

alright where should i star? the firewall? i know there's a ground for the ecu right by the mpi/mfi relay, ill go through all that tonight, are there any grounds i should be aware of that i might miss?

alright checked my grounds, they are good, checked my fuses again and my wires and found a couple burnt wires under the dash right above the fuse box by the kick panel, two red wires with stripes not sure on the color but i think one has a grey stripe and the other is blue i think, i dont think that has anything to do with it but im going to rewire those tomorrow, i dont think im getting power to the mpi relay since its not clicking over, the fusable link 20A fuse is good on the battery i just dont know what wires to check to see if the mpi relay is getting power

i know you have been saying you been holding off on getting a meter.... get one. you will just be shooting in the dark till you get it. if you have a diagram for the fuel system, go to each ground and remove it, clean wire/connector/attachment point and make sure its tight. look for corrosion at the connectors and an inch up the wire. you may need to carefully bend wires to see corrosion that has traveled up the wire. one other thing, check the chassis ground points.

what kinda meter you talking about?? i have a multimeter to check ohms and volts and stuff is that what your talking about? ill search online for a wiring diagram later today and see what i can come up with, also ill do what you said and check those wires for corrosion.

also does anyone know where i can find a wiring diagram of the fuel system electronics, relays, ect.? ive been searching on the internet for about an hour now and cant find one and i really think i could pinpoint whats wrong if i had one :(
