Looking for suggestions on what works best on a budget. No chinese crap or knockoffs but also dont need something crazy.
Going to be running e85 and goal of 600ish hp. Currently in the 4's on a stock regulator pump gas.
Will be dual 255's.
Also suggestions on filter and rail.
Car is a 91.
 
I have seen Dsm's run up 5-600 hp on stock regulators in good condition have seen them fail as well most put a regulator on and still end up running the same fuel pressure as stock I never seen the point of that.
Isn't the main point that you can easily over run the stock FPR? I thought thats why most upgrade not to turn up base FP
 
If your running big cc injectors and can keep the cycle duty for your injectors down you can continue running the stock regulator people adjust the fuel pressure to compensate for lack of injector size I.e running 100% duty cycle add more fuel pressure lowers the duty cycle pumping more fuel per squirt but you need a fuel pump and voltage to pump to support that! Depending on what your tuning with you can also adjust the amount of time the injectors stay open to also combat the duty cycle. 38psi is the same whether your running a stock regulator or an aftermarket one if you need final adjustments because of your tune you need an afpr
