Selling car, need advice on what to get

I am finally selling my 93 Eclipse GS!!! I need advice on what car to get. I'm kind of limited though. I'm 19 and have my own insurance. I have one accident and no tickets on my record. My insurance here in NYS is about $4,000 a year BARE MINIMUM (JUST LIABILTY). So i'm limited to a 1997-1998 year car. I want a turbo 97 eclipse but that doesn't seem feasible due to the high cost of insuance for my non turbo 93 eclipse. I am also kind of hesitant to go with another DSM because of all the problems i had to get fixed with this one. Granted, it is 10 years old but it was out of control. I really want a 1997 240sx but its a small car. Smaller than the 97 Eclipse? (correct me if im wrong). I want a sharp looking car. One that stands out, unlike the MILLIONS of Civics and SUV's on the road. That is one thing I liked about the DSM cars. They stand out.

Ouch...is your insurance company giving you any vasaline with that? Or are you taking it raw? If you get another 1g wether its a AWD or GST yours insurance probably wont change. My insurance is less than 100$ a month on my camaro...but my camaro is worth like 2k tops totalled...3rd gen camaros arent worth shit. I could care less if It gets totalled long as the 4 thousand dollar motor and rims make it out
