I am getting a PTE 50 trim in a coulple of days and wonder what fuel pump I should get to go with it. I was planning on getting a Walboro 255HP and a Aeromotive AFPR, but since this project is already over budget I was wondering if a 190lph pump would be able to flow enough fuel to my 650cc injectors to let me boost up to around 21-23 psi.

I wouldn't think so....I would think the 190lph pump would be for like 14b-small 16g. I think you may starve your injectors. I know that extremepsi has an overstock of 255lph pumps on eBay, I got mine for like $70+shipping.

Are you using an AFPR, I don't see one in your mods list.
Nope, I feel they it is pointless to use right now since I am not not even near 20psi.

190's flow a lot more than people think. Personally, though, w/a 50 trim I'd invest in the 255 and a regulator. I run a 190 w/550's and I'm on a B16G at 20lbs. I'm still pig rich. But the 50 trim is a bigger turbo, so I think I'd opt for the safety of the bigger pump.

I would go with the 255 and the regulator. It allows more elbow room for system upgrade or alteration. :thumb:

Do you know what your fuel pressure is with that pump installed?? I think that's why he was asking. Many times (not all the time) after installing a Walbro 255, your fuel pressure can sky rocket. Thats a big reason people use AFPR's. My pressure jumped to 62 w/o one. I had to get one to crank it back down to stock. :dsm:

Yep, that is what I wanted to know. Thanks for answering all my questions.

Can't wait till I'm boostin again. :D

About that mine runs fine and fuel pressure is fine....Only thing wrong is that it's louder then normal but that's obvious and that's not really a problem.

when it comes to fuel systems i would error on the side of redundancy. so if your getting an afpr anyway, just get the 255
