Yep, Ohio
I was advised about getting one of these for the Eclipse, but not really sure what they do. I mean, obviously they regulate fuel pressure, but what are the main advantages and how does it work? Will I get more power, better gas mileage, will one prolong the life of my engine?

Basically, what in detail do they do, and why are they important?
Here are my fuel mods as of now:
190 fp
550 fis
SAFCII

better gas milage, better idle, not fouling spark plugs, a hell of alot easier to tune. though i cant say it will be any better with a AFC. This is all assuming youve overrun your stock FPR. An aftermarket one flows much more fuel and allows your to bring it back to stock specs but still have all that extra fuel flow when you need it basicly.

with the 190, it is not NEEDED, but it can be used to free up a few more ponies.
