Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding the replacement of two of the four main components in my 1994 Mitsubishi Eclipse 1G.
I have some doubts about the implications of doing this.

My current injectors (the blue ones in the photos) have a flow rate of 275cc. From what I’ve gathered, this size was typically used in the 2.4L engine variant, whereas mine is a 2.0L. I don't know who installed them or if they were there from the factory; I’ve owned the car for two years.

I have a set of new ones—seven in total—to serve as spares (5 gray ones with green tips, and 2 black ones with black tips). All of these are rated at 240cc; is this the correct specification for my car? Am I at any risk after driving the car for so many years on 275cc injectors without any issues? If I switch to the 240cc injectors, will I lose power? Should I instead be looking to buy a set of 275cc injectors?

Additionally, I noticed that the green-tipped injectors have a different fuel outlet and tip design—they feature two holes—whereas my old injectors, as well as the two new black ones, have a single hole. Which of these designs is the correct one?

Originally, in the United States and Canada at least, the injectors were 240cc for the 1990-1994 2.0L non-turbo.

Here’s some extra identification points for the injectors:

The pintle caps changed design from 1G to 2G as well, IIRC. The 1G cap has the single spray hole and the 2Gs got dual holes.

Mitsubishi/Chrysler said that the green pintle caps with two holes directed the fuel spray to the valves and improved emissions and fuel economy as part of the changes with the 2G DSMs. As long as the injectors are clean and have fresh seals either should work.

I'm back to my question.

A few weeks ago, when I was thinking about replacing the injections, I learned that the ones I had at home (blue-grey) were the N275H for the 2.4L engine version. I decided to choose the grey ones with green covers. Unfortunately, it turned out that one of the four injections was not pouring enough fuel.

Which I think causes my car to jerk when driving while adding gas. (That's my diagnosis) I decided to buy new ones on Amazon, but unfortunately they came different than I ordered.

They also have written INP 064 and MDH 240 but they have other colors, they are all black and they have YELLOW casings!!! Can anyone explain to me which one is the right one?

Can I install what I bought on Amazon? Should I look for those grey ones with green covers?
