Fuel Injector Seals source

Hey everyone! Hope I posted this in a good place. I wanted to share my find, since I have seen others post for ways to go about replacing the injector seals on OEM or similar fuel injectors.

I know of one from Home Depot, which actually worked for me quite a while before I parked my car. But, I found injector seal set at NAPA Auto Parts and you could get a set for all four injectors for just over $10!

The part number is IK2401

Maybe I could have used this to my own advantage, but I’ve been around the community for 8 years now and I’m just grateful to have learned so much already from so many of you fellow DSMer’s!

Also, they are made in Japan! So that should be a good sign right??

Yep, you can also get them from Kawasaki!

I have 4 sets of these. Seals are good and correct spacers. I don't use the baskets tho.

I assume you mean the inlet filters?

Yeah. They didn't fall out and I ran fuel injection cleaner thru them and they flowed well. How do they come out Steve? I have mostly sent my FICs in for service but those worked just fine for seals.

You would screw a wood screw down into them and pull them out, thats how I do them.

I'd use a pick and failing that a screw. Maybe the next time I pull mine they'll be dirty.
