sup guys i was installing my fuel injectors and yes one of those damn black spacer things fell into my engine somewhere, what im wondering is if i can put a couple of washer the same size as the black spacer to replace it. seems like it would work to me right?? someone please help me asap! thanks
if not where can i buy some new black spacers??

Sorry you can't. The black rubbers are seals and need to be there to seal around the injector. You can get them at the dealer.
Sorry I reread it and I think your talking about the spacers and yes you can use washers.

He lost on of the fuel rail spacers it sounds like. I'd suggest getting a replacement. Unless the washers were exactly the same length you would be deforming the fuel rail when you torqued it down.

The rail spacer/insulator is MD095402. It's the same on almost all of Mitsubishi's cars.

the washers worked fine i found some that we exacty the same size i mean exacty, but i got another question
i took my car for a ride after that just to break in the injectors or whatever u know, note i still have my stock fuel pump in it, the injectors are 650's.
i noticed when i got up in high rpms it would be like i hit something and my car almost died, and the rpms went down and it sounded like the exhaust just muffled down....
then when i came back and parked it i almost died rpms went down to below the 1 and it kinda jumped back and forth from 1 on down!
anyone know what is causing this???

Your ecu is firing those 660's at the same pw as the 450s you just replaced. That means you are getting about 45% more fuel into your engine than you should be. I would take out the 660's and put the 450's back in until you get the safc.

no you need a safc to tune the injectors down. right now youre running horribly rich.

you also need to invest in a palm pilot and check out www.pocketlogger.com. get yourself all setup cause you will do a log with the above mentioned, and use the log as a reference to tune the safc. do some searches and do youre homework.

and the maft is something that comes later down the road.
